Meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks

Using Careerpilot to help meet the Gatsby Benchmarks

Careerpilot as part of your whole-school career provision

Careerpilot can be used to support achievement of all eight of the Gatsby Benchmarks in your school or college.

You can find out more about the Gatsby Benchmarks on the Careers and Enterprise website.

Careerpilot can be used as part of a stable careers plan across your whole school or college.

Careerpilot puts the students at the centre of the career programme and provides activities and resources to support schools in delivering effective careers for 11-19 year olds, with support for the careers leader, career advisers and teaching staff.

The information students build in their Career Tools reports will help career staff, parents and career advisers find out more about what their students are interested in - which is great for Gatsby 3 - meeting individual needs.

If a school/college is embedding Careerpilot across their careers programme then they will be meeting many of the Gatsby Benchmarks.

You will need to use your admin log in to access the Careerpilot resources. See below for details on how to set up full Careerpilot access.

Get set up with full access to Careerpilot to make the most of all areas of the platform.

The site is free to schools and colleges in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Swindon. The reason the site is free-to-use in this region is because a number of universities, Uni Connect projects and Careers Hubs pay subscriptions to fund this.

Schools outside this area can access Careerpilot for a annual subscription.
