Construction careers are evolving due to factors like the move towards net-zero, new technology, housing demand, and skills shortages. Jobs in the sector are becoming more varied, including roles in technology, sustainability, manufacturing and data. This means there are many different career paths available, including employment, self-employment, and freelance work, for people with a wide range of skills and backgrounds.
