Year 8: Start here
These activities will help you find out more about your personality and skills and start looking at jobs that might suit you.
1. Register or sign in on Careerpilot and you can save all your choices to your Career Tools.
2. Go to 'Start with you' (on the home page) and click on Do the Skills Profile to find out more about the skills you have already.
Complete the skills quiz to see how many examples you have for each skill and then add your own examples.
Look at your skills profile results and see how your skills compare to those needed for a job.
3. Now go back to 'Start with You' and choose 'Start with your personality - Buzz Quiz'.
Complete the Buzz Quiz to find out your 'animal' personality type and explore job sectors that may suit you. Save job sectors you like to your Career Tools.
4. Go to 'Explore my options' and look at 'choices at 13/14' or look at the 'GCSE' pathway to find out more about your choices.
5. If you have time explore some of the other tools in the Jobs area.
